Brief Description:  Wheel assembly & wheel pant bracket fabrication

The wheel assembly had a couple of gotchas. First, Van switched to a different inner tube manufacturer, so the directions are not exactly correct. They mentions taking off the washer and nut before assembly and discarding them. I found after doing this and putting the wheels together the stems points upward toward wheel making it difficult to fill the wheel with air. I tried it with the washer in place and it fixed the issue. After call Vans and talking to Gus, he said the valve pointing into the wheel was something he has seen and it was OK to use the washer without the nut if it helped, which it did. I still have some work to do on the brackets mounting platenuts and I will prime them with AKZO epoxy since they will be in the elements. This will be the task for Monday along getting some guys together to unload my engine when it shows up. The freight company called today and said they could deliver it on Monday.
