Brief Description: Canopy spacers for gluing with SikeFlex
Today I did some more fitting and cut some smaller ID tubing for the glue spacers. I found that using the exact same size as the tubing ID as the tube OD allowed them to sift around too much after splitting the tubing to put them on. The solution is going smaller. I used 5/8" ID for the front bow which is 3/4" OD and 3/8" ID for the 1/2" rear bow. This works well.
Front bow - used 5/8" ID tubing
Rear bow - used 3/8" ID tubing
2 x 4" to hold the frames in an extra 3/4" for spring back
