Another day of canopy frame adjustments. What makes this difficult is when you get it right in one area it seems to change another. I have spent hours getting the side rails to match the canopy frame and I am now working the rear bow. The trick here is getting it to match the fuselage with out changing the side bows. This is almost impossible, so compromises are inevitable. I may try one more time tomorrow to get the back bow a little closer to the fuselage shape. I am within 1/8” but not quite to the 1/16” Van recommends. I hope a little more work will pay off. If so and if the weather is hot enough, I may start to work on the bubble tomorrow, oh boy!
