I added the handles that I previously made to the canopy on the right and left side. This was not in the plans, but many other builders found them needed and useful or eve required. The side pulls allows the pilot or the passenger to open the canopy while standing on the ground versus being on the wing. They weigh less the a few ounces and work great. I used 100 degree pop rivet to secure them in place and are attached directly to the canopy frame.
