Brief Description:  Canopy skirt fiberglass lay-up

The fiberglass lay-up went reasonably well. I learned the fiberglass BID cloth seem to stretch very easily in length versus the width and must be applied carefully trying not to reshape the cloth. I would wet out each layer on the bench and then transfer it the piece to the plane alternating sides. I just poured on the epoxy on the bench, using 4 pump batches and then I use a tongue depressor for mixing and spreading the epoxy over the cloth. I used a very small 3” paint roller with almost no nap to smooth the layup out on the plane mould, this worked very well in lieu of a proper stippler. I used 5 layers except in the middle where it over laps so there are 10 at that point and added 2 extra layers along each bottom where it attaches to the side skirt.
