I made the skirt mould right on the airplane to get the fit exact. I basically made the forms about 1/8” oversize out of 1/16” think tag board. The idea is to lay up right on the airplane, use the edges that will show from the thickness as trim lines and cut the hardened piece to shape, finish and mount to the canopy. Today is lay- up day since it will be over 60 degrees, let’s hope for the best. I wish I had a stippling roller, but no such luck, I guess I’ll go for it with a disposable brush and roller.
