Brief Description:  Installing the sniffle valve

I messed with the sniffle valve for over 4 hours trying to get comfortable clearance from the exhaust stacks and still use the motor mount for Adel clamps to support the drain tube. This was a “no go” situation and I ended up routing the tube through the nose wheel mount where there was much more room.
The valve required a 45 degree fitting to clear the exhaust at the engine, what is shown on Vans drawing is just not possible and after talking to them they know it for the IO 360M1B Lycoming. You know the line, every engine is different and you “have to make it work”. So it is in place with lots on clearance and it is sturdy. Additionally, it looks better than being attached to the nose gear tubes.
