Brief Description:  Fuel line vents

This project is done by using your imagination and a lot of extra tubing! First try was less then perfect, in fact it went directly into the trash. The good new is that the tubing is just .30 cents a foot, so the 5 foot piece is only $1.50. I tried an Avery tubing bender the first time around and that just didn’t work out very well. There are just too many curves, and way too many constraints. What did work for me was using the spring type bender that surrounds the tubing and keeps it from collapsing, while you bend it by hand. I would flare, and attach one end of the tube to a fitting and start slowly shaping the tube to take the path it needs to follow to the other fitting. I can see this getting easier and better as I pick up experience and since there are many plumbing lines yet to run, I know I will be an expert at it soon. It is best to take your time, and think out each bend. If you do not bend the tube too severely, you can adjust each bend to get it right where you need it.
