Today was a little frustrating because some of these jobs just keep rolling on. I went through my list of things to do and decided to get the boring ones out of the way. The rudder links were ½” too short for my liking and the rudder pedals did not hang exactly vertical, so this will fix the problem, at least until the cables stretch, if they do? I also had to decide how the route the hand brake plumbing and drilled the holes with a unibit for the snap bushings. I will do the final plumbing after I paint the interior of the plane. Last, I want to finish riveting the top turtle deck skin so I can get ready to build up the canopy frame. This means the wiring needs to be in place or I will have to crawl back in there later. I strung the wire for the strobe and navigation position light and the next time in the shop I will route the trim cable also. With a little luck I can rivet that skin on sometime next week.
