Brief Description:  Aileron electric trim build and install

It is amazing how long little projects take. Although I’m not on a schedule or in any big hurry to build my RV, it is the little things that take a lot of time. I figured the aileron trim for a 4 hour job, and I will end up spending 8 hours on it. The bracket was an hour; also I had to remove some platenuts in the seat to get the mount in. Then there were the new platenuts that needed to be installed on the mounting bracket that replaced the ones I removed. There is a pattern here of building it, removing it and then replacing it. Hmmmm. This was all done per the plans in the box that comes with the kit, which by the way was quite clear and all worked out. This is a typical Vans part build with cutting to size, Scotch-Briting the edges, adding nutplates, drilling the holes, dimpling the holes, priming the parts and then assembly, then mount it in the plane.
