I made sure the hand brake location worked for me and mounted the Rotax unit using nutplates. This is right over the spar and the seat pan is held down with 12 screws, including 4 around the perimeter of the brake. I don’t think there is anyway this unit will move even with extreme pulling. I believe this will really work out well and I have a report from Jim Hard another RV’er who has been using this for sometime, that his has been working perfectly. I still have to figure out how to plumb it with the toe brakes, but that shouldn’t be too difficult. I need to build the elevator push tubes next, get them installed and then figure out the best way to run thebrake lines.
