Today I painted the underside of the front instrument panel skin. This is the last skin to go on and closes off the front of the fuselage. The black painted area is the overhang brow that is above the instruments and is also where the panel LED light strip gets mounted. As you can see, it is also where the defroster fans are mounted. This was a complicated skin due to all the modifications, but the extra work will pays big dividend in serviceability and functionality in flight.
