Brief Description: Forward control cover & fuel tank selector
Today I went back to the front floor fuselage cover and fuel selector box. I received the Andair valve from Vans and decided it was a good time to install it. This is a costly little valve and the same one that is used by Airbus Industries, but I decided the one shipped with the kit was just an accident looking for a place to happen. I remembered my early flying days in a Piper Cherokee and accidentally turning the valve to off instead of switching tanks for landing. Needless to say this was very exciting and I never want to have to glide in for a landing again, so I paid the bib bucks and got a valve that will never allow this to happen. The Andair is a piece of art and in my mind worth every penny (dollar! lots of them). You can see by the picture the quality of this unit, plus it has adjustable tube out fitting so you can point them down and same a bunch of tube fittings
