Brief Description:  Gasket for panel access hatches

I was waiting for the weather to break and get a few days of 60 degree plus weather to bond the windscreen and decided to get the front panel hatches installed. The dilemma is keeping them from leaking rain on those expensive radios underneath. I bought some 1/64” think neoprene gasket material from McMaster-Carr to give it a try. I really wanted 1/32”, but to keep the panel flush would have required either a thinner cover plate or modifications in the design to allow the plate to sit lower in it frame. Oh well, maybe on the next one! ;-) This looks pretty good, the panel may stick up a little (.01”) but it really should keep the water out. I will test it at a later date during the test flying and problem solving stage.
