Brief Description: Final installation of fuselage-tank mount
Today I finished the tank-fuselage attachment brackets and added the nutplates. It is a tight working space but manageable. I used a 12” drill bit and held the nutplates in place with a bolt. After drilling on hole, add a cleco and drill the other. I was able to squeeze the rivets in place. I will safety wire the bolt at final assembley.
