Brief Description:  Fuel tank sender and pick up

Today I worked on finishing off the fuel tanks by building the combination tank access, fuel pick up and fuel gauge sender. It is pretty neat the way this is designed; it is all there attached to the access plate. There is not mush to building this, follow the instructions and planes closely and do a trial fit to make sure the pick up tube is on the bottom of the tank. Also, you have to check and make sure the Stewart Warner fuel sender has the full swing from the top to the bottom of the tank and then check it with an ohm meter and see if you get right resistance per the instructions. Next time out I will Pro-Seal and rivet the T 715 anti rotation bracket and the AN 833-6D bulkhead fitting. Then it is just a matter of screwing the F-708 plate to the tank.
