Today I marked the skin for the pitot mast from the back side through the aileron access cover, pulled the skin off and cut the marked hole. I used a unibit first and nibbled, filed and sanded to the streamlined tubing shape. I dimpled the skin for the 4 mounting screws and below you can see the results. The bracket attaches to the main spar and the rib made this assembly very strong and I really like how it turned out. Wednesday I will start the plumbing.
