Brief Description: Installing TruTrak servo mounts and the Pitot tube
Today I went to the hanger and finished mounting the TruTrak auto pilot mounting hardware and started installing the Gretz Pitot tube. The Gretz unit seems like a good pitot tube, but we won’t know for sure until it is working in in-climate conditions. Tomorrow I need to go to Radio Shack and find a small instrument case for mounting the electronics for the pitot tube. They say in the directions you can just spray it with electronic varnish and mount it on a rib with the provided stand-offs, but?? I like the idea of a small instrument case for $4 and I’ll attach that to the rib. Stay tuned for the final solution.
