Brief Description: Installing the right flap & started left flap
I made a decision to go with the hinge pins split in the middle and work out a really neat way of securing the ends of the hinge pin, see the photos below. This arrangement will allow for easy disassembly by dropping the flap and pulling the hinge from the safety clasp and it’s off. Elegant, simple and safe.
Now that the right flap is done and I know what I’m doing I started the left flap and got as far as lining up the flap to the aileron in trail and drilling the hinge. Tomorrow I will try to get the left flap completly installed and maybe start working on the wiring conduit.
