I did the final build of the right elevator today and every thing went well except riveting the tip rib to the spar. This requires setting an 1/8" rivet with virtually no room to do it with a squeezer and driving it seemed like killing a fly with a brick. To make a long story short I ended up driving the rivets and by using a very heavy bucking bar, it turned out fine, although the primer took a beating. The right elevator is done except for rolling the front edge, which I now have to do on the elevator and the rudder. I guess it’s time to go to Lowes and buy a piece of water pipe and get er done. I understand it's not he hard, but it does take 2, so I'll have to get Rafael over tot do it. Next week!
