This is the result of all the modification to the fairing. I have two layers of 8 oz cloth on the outside and two on the inside. I used Peel-ply on the outside to minimize the sanding and smooth things out. I also have one layer of cloth around the leading edge on the inside, so I could get a really tight fit, by molding it right on the plane on top of waxed packing tape. This fairing fits very tightly now and although it will require hours of filling, sanding and finishing, I think it is worth it. Filling and sanding to follow along with some screws and nut plates to hold it down
Fairing is tight to fuselage now after major re-work
