Brief Description:  Priming parts and building the rudder spar

Today was priming, which took 5 hours because of all of the empennage stiffeners (64) and getting used to the new paint. I switched to Akzo 2 part epoxy and I had to mess with pressure and viscosity to get it all right. A word to the wise is to mix this paint thoroughly or it will cause you problems spraying. Once I got that right, it went on easily, and turned out to be as tough as nails.

I also built the vertical spar. This was great fun, easy to do with a pneumatic squeezer and turned out looking better that a Boeing part. Love doing this kind of building, I wish I could use the squeezer on the whole plane.
