Although the wheel fairings are all in their final position, the holes needed to be enlarged for the 100 degree 8/32 flathead screws and countersunk. I did that and found some distortion under the screws as I tightened them in a few spots. I will go back and add some layers of glass cloth to add strength and level the distance between the bracket and the wheel fairing to fix this. Ugh, two steps forward and one step back. I also bonded the gear leg intersection cuff to the wheel fairing with West epoxy and fiber. I’ll sand them and lay on a few layers of 9 ounce glass cloth to stiffen them up and add strength.
