Wiring the fuel pump is pretty much the same as the wiring the rest of the plane EXCEPT I decided to add a set of connectors so the pump can be easily be removed for maintenance. It is strange to me this was not a requirement, since the filter needs to be replaced or cleaned periodically and we all know the pump will not last forever. Connectors are a two edge sword, because they add complexity and a possible failure point, but Molex connectors in this application would be robust.
