I just took pictures of the cowl to document the work spent on sanding and filling the cowl. I brushed thinned epoxy to the inside of the cowl to prepare for a coat of paint and started spot filling the big pin holes on the exterior. The is going to be many hours of filling and sanding to get a smooth even surface for final sanding.
