Brief Description:  Fwd fuselage alignment / tacking

The last two weeks of relative inactivity were due to my finding a new job. Starting next Friday I go back to work for a Northwest aircraft manufacturer of some notoriety. So that's my excuse.

In teeny bits I was able to work through some issues with my fwd fuse though. See, when you draw the fuse sides out on a flat surface, and build the sides on the board, everything seems alright. Problem is, when you squeeze the longerons in at the nose, like in these pictures, you can see how the length of the plane shrinks by about an inch. Now shrinkage, from what I understand is normal. Like a quarter inch. But this change in dimension was just too much. So I removed the "V" members fwd of the fwd cockpit posts, and made new longer ones that would reach out to the jigged top firewall tube I painstakingly anchored in space where it belonged. It seemed I was endlessly squaring/leveling/measuring. One of those laser pointers would be a good investment.
Now I have two rather aggressive bends to form in the lwr longerons, and I'm going to get my experienced mentor to help me with that so I don't kink them. Intil then, I'll find other stuff to fritter with.
