When I received my fuselage kit, I set a goal of completing it by Sun N Fun...of 2014! Needless to say, I am behind schedule. I finally got back into the garage today and worked on the F-771 Forward Top Skin. I drilled it to the firewall and underlying brackets. I used the right angle drill attachment to drill the attach angle to the firewall after removing the clecos on the pilot side of the top skin to allow access. I edge finished, deburred and dimpled the top skin and dimpled most of the underlying holes in the brackets. I need to do some priming and a little more riveting and then it's on to the canopy.
