I returned from the funeral and got back to work on the plane. I started by clamping VA-146 inside HS-411BPP and HS-411APP and then to the spar. I matchdrilled the pieces, deburred them and shot VA-146 with NAPA 7220. You can see some overspray on the bracket in the photo before I wiped it with MEK. I reassembled the pieces and broke out the pneumatic squeezer to set the first rivets in my plane. A few thousand more (rivets and $$$) and we will be in the air! I clecoed the assembly back to the spar and drilled out the bolt holes to #12.
