So, I waited to paint the interior until absolutely the last chance on the build... I need to install the electrical system, avionics, etc and need to paint before...
Masked the entire cabin interior I don't want to paint... Which is actually most of the airframe!!
Took two full rolls of mask tape, but actually had some paper left over...
Masked all of the powder coated weldments, as well as the cabin that is below the floor, this is already primed from Vans, and no one is going to be looking at this but me during annual condition inspections.
Ordered HVLP paint system from Harbor Freight, should be in Tuesday... after some practice runs, intend to paint the interior the same color code as the powdered coated parts by Columbus Powder Coating which they completed for about 25 items just a few weeks back (floors, console covers, etc.)
