There's an incredible amount of parts in the FWF kit. I can't really imagine trying to decide and source all of these parts independently, although I know a lot of folks do. Maybe on my 2nd build!
Even If I don't use exactly everything, it's got to be a huge time saver just having plans and directions go guide going forward. One of the things most concerning to me is the fuel system, or rather, the proper implementation of the fuel system, so having this kit and plans certainly gives the confidence to move forward.
Vans supplies plans for the O320/O360 engine, and the IO360 engine, but the IO360 plans are for the horizontal draft fuel servo, not the vertical draft servo. I will have to use guidance from both, but mostly from the O360 plans for things like engine control cables and fuel hose routing, except I will exclude the gascolator, as the IO360 plans do not call for a gascolator.
This will be interesting...
