Four AN3 bolts safely and snuggly installed on the forward HS spar to the aft deck. In order to have a clean round hole for the one that was snow manned due to the previous fun and games, installed a doubler plate on the interior side of the angle bracket where the AN3 bolt, washer and nut are placed.
The doubler plate is the same thickness as the angle bracket (per Van’s). I removed the two adjacent rivets for the existing angle bracket, then match drilled the doubler plate, then riveted the doubler plate to the existing angle bracket.
