Continuing to work on the FAB. Clecoed everything in place to rivet. First riveted the FAB top, then the cut out for the mixture lever. I could hand squeeze all but the forward most rivet in the mixture level cut out, which I actually had to buck, with low pressure to avoid damaging the fiberglass.
Located where the 2" hole needs to go the filter bypass. This is controlled by a slide plate connected to a pull cable and nob in the cockpit. It is meant for in flight use if the normal air intake gets obstructed, and can only be closed once you have landed and manually reset by removing the cowl.
