Brief Description:  Fuel Line Redo - Fuel Filter

What an opportunity!! Since I am replacing the boost pump, the fuel line from the pump to the performance airflow filter must be replaced. I was never really happy with the fuel line routing under the mid cabin console where the fuel valve is located, I really did not like the clearance of the right wing tank fuel line to valve relative to the wing spar bolts. There was no way I was going to get the wing spar bolts in place without remove the line. So, made the decision to redo all of it.

Removed the fuel filter and all lines. I will likely want/need to relocate the filter cradle, but decided to leave in place until it becomes obvious, as I don’t really know yet what the redo will resemble.

Created a short run line from the FW to the high pressure pump for mocking the locating of the pump between the FW and left forward gear leg tower. The input side of the pump aligns nicely with a pre-punched, but not final size whole in the gear leg tower on both the forward and aft sides.

I will final drill these holes for the fuel line and install snap bushings. Had to order more 3/8" aluminum tubing, order another 24' - because, you know, you can't make a line the first, or second time correctly...
