Cut width and vertical tapers on the outboard wing spar caps. Used a $50 miter blade on the Shopsmith and it took a lot of cutting power. Tripped circuit breaker. Found out that cutting slower actually better. Took 16 cuts to taper the four spar caps. Lots of sawdust. Manual is not clear on whether it could be done with just cutting material off one side, but decided to make a symetrical taper, which meant cutting both sides.
