Brief Description: Boot Cowl, Left Side 1 - Top attachment
Installed nutplates along top edge of left side boot cowl panel.
I installed the #8 micro nutplates on the backside of the panel. This is along the edge where the top panel will join this one, just behind the flange I bent along the side panel's top end.
I am considering changing all of this to make this break along the side of the boot cowl just below the top door hinge. Then I would possibly replace this section of the side panels and the top panel with just one single top piece going from side to side. This would also eliminate the seams under the windshield, maybe promoting better sealing - but I don't think this is a significant enough benefit on it's own to justify doing it. I may just cut the side panels and make them two-piece.
