Trimmed the floorboards that go under the front seats to fit around the upper elevator cable that goes through the floor in this area.
Since the floorboards came with enough overlap to fasten them together, I decided to just cut a notch in the edge of each panel to form a slot for the cable to pass through. I marked the panels, then drilled out the corners and used an "Adel Tool" hand nibbler to cut the notches. This was my first time using this tool - and it works great! You have a lot of control over the cut, so you can sneak up on the line you are cutting. I used a file to smooth the edges.
