Burrr!!! Very limited skeleton crew at the hanger tonight due to inclement weather. Jay made clamps for the flaperons per the instructions at his home earlier in the week. Additionally, after some research on the internet, he got a "Whizzy Wheel" to try and take off the 20 year old plastic that was originaaly put on at the factory to protect the flaperons. It has hardeded and decayed and is very difficult to remove without harming the aluminum. The whizzy wheel, along with a plastic scraper, and some cleaning solution did a pretty good job, but it is slow going. I estimate about 5-6 hours per flaperon to get all the plastic removed.
