Today I riveted the stiffeners and platenuts on the magnetometer shelf. It's ready to be installed onto the longerons with ten blind rivets. (I'll do this after everything else in the aft fuselage is complete, and the cockpit and baggage area have been painted.)
The little magnetometer box gets a significant amount of real estate all to itself.
Stiffeners give the 15"-wide mounting plate a lot of strength. Should be good up to at least 9Gs. ;-)
