Today, I spent some time final-trimming and sanding the new lower side panels (holding the fuel selector on the left and the circuit breakers on the right) out of 0.040" sheet. These will be much more robust than the stock panels, which are made of 0.020."
The new panels will be water-jet cut to ensure they are very precise.
