A lot of work revolves around panel configuration, electronics, and lighting. For lack of a better category we've slipped this into avionics. Larry has spearheaded the R&D portion of this, but maybe it should be an" altogether now" partner since we all seem to been involved at various stages. It's an ongoing area that may continue right into the flight portion. Who knows? Only the shadow do.
We chose Blue Mountain for main display and Dynon for the right side display each with its own backup battery and pitot static system, so they should be completely independent. At the present time there are no steam gauge backup dials.
