Brief Description: Left and Right Side Boot Cowl Assembly
Big day -
We fitted both the Left and Right Side Boot Cowl panels. The second one went much quicker than the first. Side Skins went into place. The Note in our figures book said to align with the lower longeron. This was very critical so it will align with the Firewall support angle tabs on the front of the Firewall.
Manufactured all the Stiffeners and transfer drilled #30 holes in the Side skins and tabs. Cleco'd all the skins and support angles into place.
We used the washers to form the side skins but we will have to use a much more critical eye on finall install.
Mark Pringle called and we talked about where to place the ADSB, Transponder and GPS Antenna. We asked about the proper way to run the Elevator Servo Trim Wire to the Servo in the back of the Fuselage and into the Elevator.
