I removed the bow from the two horizontal stabilizer attachment bars using my bench vice and rubber mallot. I did this per the plans by clamping the attachment bar into the bench vice, pre-loading it in the direction required to straighten it, then striking it with the mallot. I moved the attachment bar further into the vice, then striking it again, This process was repeated until the attachment bar laid flat on my workbench without a bow.
