I bent the elevator close-out tabs of the top and bottom elevator skins towards the inside of the elevator. Each skin was clamped to my workbench with the close-out tab overhanging the edge of the table. I used my rivet gun, flush rivet set, and a small wood block to bend the tabs perpendicular to the skins. I set the air pressure for the rivet gun to 20 psi. Bending the aluminum is not my favorite task, but this went fairly well and they turned out fine.
