I got this idea from watching the EAA Video series from several years ago called "From the Ground Up"
I wanted a system to store all of the small parts, rivets, etc, that come with the kit, plus a place to hang the 24 x 36 inch instructions.
Once I determined the dimensions that would work for my needs, I cut the 2x4s to size and assembled the frame and shelf as you see it in the 3rd picture. I added wheel casters to the bottom at the corners so that I could move the easel around the shop where I needed it.
