Changed design of bracket for VOR antenna after looking at one of the other RV builder's pages. Fabricated a bracket out of .063 aluminum and shaped to size of HS top. Decided to notch both the aluminum skin and a little of the top fairing to accomodate antenna base. Drilled holes in bracket for AN3 bolts and drilled holes for bracket attach rivets to top rib of HS. Used K1000-3 nutplates on bracket so antenna can be removed if needed. Drilled hole for coax cable in bracket and top rib of HS. Placed a bushing in the rib to protect the cable as it passes through. Used new Dremel tool to create notches which worked great. Deburred all holes and blind riveted bracket onto top HS rib. Everything fits great for a change!
