Drilled hole in aft bulkhead and installed a snap bushing for wiring to the strobe. Cut conduit running to aft bulkhead to right length. Trimmed rudder fairing to fit, took a long time because I was nervous to get it right. Marked out and drilled 8 holes on each side to attach the fairing to the rudder. Will installed nut plates so I can take it on and off as needed in the future. Found a thread on Van's Airforce site about how to install the tail strobe. Fabricated a 1/8" doubler using strobe as a template. Initially planned to drill and tap the doubler for the retaining ring screws but drilled the holes too big. Drilled 6 other holes to blind rivet it onto the fairing. Glued the nuts onto the back of the doubler and set aside to dry for now. Opened up the hole in the fairing where the strobe fits.
