Joe came over and helped me rivet three rivets I missed on the top skin. Worked on the windscreen taping for the back of it going up and over the rollbar. I think I have that the way I want it now. Trimmed off all non-essential protective plastic. I wanted to mount the glareshield padding but had to run up to the hangar to get it. Used the template to locate and drill the holes for the pad. Put the pad back in the box for now. Decided to do the glareshield painting. Determined the area to paint and taped off the rest of the forward fuselage, and the front half of the cockpit. Scotchbrighted the area to be painted and cleaned with MEK. Used flat black Rustoleum spray paint and put two coats of paint on. Quit for the day to let it all dry.
