Brief Description:  Nose Gear and leg

Worked on nose gear and leg today. Checked the position of the nose gear leg in the engine mount and whether the bolt would go through the firewall hole okay. It would not. The plan sheet had me drill a 3/4" hole but the written documentation says it should be 1". So, I enlarged the firewall hole to 1" with some difficulty but ultimately got it done with the Dremel and a stone wheel. Used a reamer to open up hole in gear leg and engine mount holes so I could get the bolt through. I then packed the bearings for the nose wheel using the new Handy Packer I bought and placed them into the wheel. I then assembled the wheel to the fork using the appropriate hardware. I assembled the nose gear to the leg after reaming the bolt hole for the 631 and temporarily put the nut on with the spring washers and flat washer. I fabricated the 713's per plans and installed the nutplates. Attached the 713's to the fork with the appropriate hardware.
