Brief Description:  Rudder Cables, brake pedal positioning

Fabricated the F6119 rudder cable links per plans. Drilled holes approximately as shown in drawing. Attached links to rudder pedals and rudder cables. In order to get the proper fit I reassembld the vertical stabilizer and rudder to the fuselage and attached the rudder cables to the rudder. I then fabricated the hinge wires to attach the pilot seat back and installed the seat back. Grabbed a couple couch cushions to act as proxy seat cushions. Sat in the plane and it was apparent I had the rudder pedals installed way too close. I removed the nuts for the rudder pedal blocks and moved the pedals ahead, checked the sitting position, and then moved them ahead again. Sitting position and pedal function appeared to be very good at that point so I bolted the pedals back into place. I placed the cotter pins in the rudder cable links and bent them in place for permanent install. Decided to run the tail strobe wire cable to the rudder bottom fairing. Drilled a hole for a rubber grommet to feed the wire bundle through but cut a notch all the way to the top of the fairing in case I wanted to remove the entire fairing. Seems to fit okay and has a good path. Will fabricate the connectors at another time. Seems like a lot of time in the garage for only getting this much done today.
