Spent 6.5 hours today fitting the steps to both sides of the fuselage. What a PITA. Started by drilling out the rivets that held in the rght side 750 to have access to the area where the step would be riveted in. Wish I had read one sentence further in the plans before riveting that in last night. Oh well. Anyway, followed the directions that came with the steps and fit both sides per plans. Got all holes drilled and deburred. Will have to primer the steps before riveting them in otherwise it's all ready to go to rivet. I am sure it wasn't supposed to take this long. It pretty much killed my day. Had USC--Penn State game on (Rose Bowl). USC won 38-24.
